The community's building
The Dodge Auditorium is the city's community hall — a wood floor, a stage end, tables and chairs, and room for the whole town. It hosts the Home Base Business Show every spring and fall, the Community Club's suppers and turkey shoot, the Easter egg hunt, Old Fashioned Christmas, funerals, receptions and the Halloween warm-up stop.
The building is also called the Dodge Community Hall on some event postings — it is the same building.
Booking the auditorium
To reserve the auditorium for a supper, show, meeting, reception or family gathering, contact City Hall at (701) 846-7330 or cityofdodge@ndsupernet.com. City Hall keeps the calendar and will tell you the current rental rate, the deposit and what comes with the hall.
What happens here
- Home Base Business Show Spring and fall — 25+ area vendors, hourly door prizes, a coloring contest for the kids and a fleischkuechle fundraiser
- Community Club suppers Including the sausage and sauerkraut supper with bingo and a turkey shoot
- Easter egg hunt Kids split into age groups, a prize and a goodie bag for every child
- Old Fashioned Christmas Supper, Santa, hay rides and homemade ice cream
- Halloween A stop in the auditorium for hot chocolate and treats
- Public meetings City meetings and county information sessions
