Water, sewer, garbage and the rest of what the city does for the houses on its streets.
The City of Dodge operates its own water and sewer system. The system was rebuilt as part of the city's water, sewer and paving project completed in 2023.

The city maintains a dump ground for residents, open on posted hours and by appointment. Appliance and item disposal fees apply for some items.
The dump ground is part of city service inside Dodge city limits; residents who live outside city limits pay $24 to use it.
A building permit is required for any improvements to existing buildings that are structural, and for new construction, additions, fences and demolition.
Applications are turned in to City Hall with the fee paid, then reviewed by the Zoning Board.
City streets were rebuilt and paved through the 2022–2023 project. Report a street, sign or drainage problem to City Hall.
The city sprays for mosquitoes on summer evenings, depending on the wind. Spray nights are announced ahead of time on the city's Facebook page.
Bring or mail your payment to the City Auditor's Office. There is a mail drop at the back of City Hall so you can drop a payment off without taking the stairs. For the current amount owed, payment methods the city accepts, or to ask about a bill, call (701) 846-7330.
