Utilities & City Services

Water, sewer, garbage and the rest of what the city does for the houses on its streets.

Water & sewer

The City of Dodge operates its own water and sewer system. The system was rebuilt as part of the city's water, sewer and paving project completed in 2023.

For current water and sewer rates, to start or stop service, or to report a problem, call City Hall at (701) 846-7330.

Garbage & the dump ground

The city maintains a dump ground for residents, open on posted hours and by appointment. Appliance and item disposal fees apply for some items.

Streets

City streets were rebuilt and paved through the 2022–2023 project. Report a street, sign or drainage problem to City Hall.

Mosquito control

The city sprays for mosquitoes on summer evenings, depending on the wind. Spray nights are announced ahead of time on the city's Facebook page.

Paying your city bill

Bring or mail your payment to the City Auditor's Office. There is a mail drop at the back of City Hall so you can drop a payment off without taking the stairs. For the current amount owed, payment methods the city accepts, or to ask about a bill, call (701) 846-7330.

Mail to: PO Box 96, Dodge, ND 58625

Other utilities

Electricity, natural gas, propane, telephone and internet in Dodge are provided by outside companies, not by the city. City Hall can point you to the right provider for your address.
