City Council meetings are open to the public. Notices are posted at City Hall and on the city's Facebook page.
Meeting night. The City of Dodge posts each monthly City Council meeting date and time as it is set — recent notices have listed the monthly meeting in the evening at City Hall, Mountain Time (MT). Confirm the next meeting date by calling City Hall at (701) 846-7330 or by checking the City of Dodge Facebook page.
Attending a meeting
Council meetings are held at City Hall, 102 Central Ave. Meetings are open to the public under North Dakota open meetings law. If you want an item placed on the agenda, contact the City Auditor's Office ahead of the meeting.
Agendas, minutes and notices
Meeting notices, agendas and approved minutes are available at City Hall during office hours. North Dakota's open records law gives you the right to inspect and copy them. Request a copy by phone or email and the auditor's office will get it to you.
Ordinance readings
When the city adopts or amends an ordinance, a public reading and review period is posted and the ordinances are made available at City Hall during business hours for residents to read and comment on. See ordinances.
