Community

Who does what in Dodge — the clubs, the volunteers and the neighbors who run the calendar.

Dodge Community Club

The Community Club puts on the sausage and sauerkraut supper with bingo and a turkey shoot, the annual Easter egg hunt at the auditorium, and Old Fashioned Christmas with Santa, hay rides and homemade ice cream.

The Sunshine Club

Runs the annual Easter egg hunt at the auditorium, splitting the kids into age groups so every child gets a prize and a goodie bag.

Girl Scout Troop 85112

Serves fleischkuechle at the Home Base Business Show as a troop fundraiser — a reliable reason to show up hungry.

Feed My Starving Children

The spring Home Base Business Show's fleischkuechle fundraiser has been run to benefit Feed My Starving Children.

Business in Dodge

Dodge has an elevator and local businesses serving farms and families in the surrounding country. The city's twice-yearly Home Base Business Show at the auditorium is where more than twenty-five area home-based businesses set up tables — the nineteenth annual show was held in October 2023.
